Be very careful with this rapid ascent in gold prices, everyone. The news about the Fed potentially hiking rates could easily turn this bullish sentiment on its head. We might be looking at a classic bull trap where early buyers get caught expecting further gains, only to be swiftly reversed when the market digests the implications of tighter monetary policy. I'd be hesitant to chase this move higher without more confirmation.
