That XAUUSD weekly close on Friday was a bit of a mixed bag. Dropped hard intraday but then pulled back, which is interesting. Not sure if that's smart money stepping in or just a dead cat bounce before the next leg down. Still, holding above the 50 SMA on the weekly is something to watch for next week.

And yeah, the volatility on Friday was crazy. Good thing the market is closed now so I can actually relax a bit before Monday.

Actually, thinking more about that Friday close. The pullback from the lows was pretty significant, especially considering how much news came out. If you look at the PH7 Technologies stuff, it seems like they're trying to shake things up in the PGM market, but gold is still holding its own above $4600. I'm leaning towards a slightly bullish bias for Monday open, assuming no major overnight gaps. I'll be watching that R1 pivot around 4682 closely. It feels like we might see some accumulation happening at these lower levels, possibly setting up for a move towards the 200 SMA on the daily if momentum builds. Definitely keeping an eye on any inducement patterns on the lower timeframes that might signal early entry points before the retail crowd piles in.
