Just closed my long on EURUSD at 1.1590. Had it since 1.1565, good little scalp on the early Sydney session. Not much movement though, RSI is sitting pretty neutral around 55. Watching to see if we can push past that R1 pivot at 1.15917, but volume is super thin right now.

Also, for anyone watching that S1 pivot at 1.15836, it held nicely earlier. Combined with the 20 SMA just above it, that's forming a decent micro-support. I'd need to see a strong break below those levels with significant volume to even consider a short, but right now, the bias is leaning towards consolidation or a slow grind upwards if the dollar continues its weakness.

Yeah, this quiet Asian session is really testing patience. I'm eyeing that 1.1600 psychological level, it's been a stubborn resistance. If we can break and hold above it, I might look to scale into a longer-term bullish position. For now though, it feels like a liquidity grab just before a potential move. The fact that the dollar softened a bit on that jobs data looming might give EURUSD the boost it needs. I'll be keeping an eye on the order blocks around 1.1610-1.1620 if we get any follow-through.

@JosephHarris I agree, this Asian session liquidity is definitely a challenge for intraday scalping. Your observation about the 20 SMA and S1 pivot forming micro-support is sound. Given the thin volume, I'd be cautious about chasing breakouts above R1. A more conservative approach might be to wait for clearer signs of accumulation or a break of the larger 1.1500-1.1600 range. Patience is key here.
