thinking of a potential short setup on XAUUSD if we see a small bounce. the 50 SMA is around 5147 and S1 pivot is 5139.46, so anywhere in that 5140-5150 region could be a decent area for a retest before more downside. my target would be towards the S2 pivot at 5128 or even lower if momentum continues. stop loss would need to be tigh, maybe above the 20 SMA at 5187.62. for scalping, need to be quick on the trigger and adjust levels fast if the market shifts. setting up an alert for those levels on my automated system

@nhassan656, that's an interesting short setup you're considering. I'm also seeing resistance around the 5172 level (R1 Pivot), so a bounce there seems plausible. However, given the current volatility, I'd be inclined to wait for confirmation before entering a short position. A tight stop-loss is definitely advisable in this environment.
