Hey @mthompson923, I totally get what you mean about being flat and watching. It's like, you see the news about Iran and think gold should be soaring, but then you remember how it can just whipsaw you. Trusting the process, even when it's boring, is the hardest part of this game. Gotta have patience.

It's just that sometimes, staying flat feels like you're missing out, you know? Like, what if this is the moment gold breaks out above $4750 like that headline suggested? I keep thinking about that one time I waited too long and watched a trade just run away from me. But then again, jumping in too early and getting caught in a liquidity grab is way worse. Saw some stops get swept below 4700 earlier, definitely a sign of that. It's a fine line, always trying to find that sweet spot between action and observation. Just gotta keep checking the charts and trust your gut, I guess. NFA, obviously.
