Watching this GBPUSD action today, it's pretty sleepy. I was thinking about incorporating MACD into my analysis, but it seems a bit laggy during these quiet Sydney sessions. Does anyone have a good setup or specific way they use it to catch early moves on pairs like this?

Yeah, that MACD lag is what worries me too. I've been trying to find resources on how to use it for divergence signals specifically, rather than just crossovers. Seems like that might be the key during these slower periods, but it's a learning curve for sure. Any tips on spotting reliable divergence on the H1 or H4 charts?

@twilson96 Dude, MACD is basically a lagging indicator on steroids. If you want to catch moves, you gotta be watching price action and volume like a hawk, not waiting for some wiggly lines to cross. I usually just chuck on some Fibonacci levels and see if it bounces off those. Forget the MACD for now, just trade the damn price. Maybe look at the RSI for overbought/oversold, that's more useful for scalping than that MACD thing you're talking about. Honestly, just go big or go home, that's my strategy. If it doesn't feel like a 50x or 100x play, I don't even bother.
