What are your expectations for GBPUSD in the short term? Do you anticipate a breakout above the 1.36 level, or a further decline towards the 1.35 area? Interested to hear other perspectives on potential trading strategies given the current market conditions. I'm considering a short position if it fails to hold at pivot.

@mia01 I'm with you on the short idea. I see it potentially dropping below 1.34. The bollinger bands suggest more downside too, with the price near the lower band. I'm skeptical about a breakout above 1.36 in the short term. The overall trend looks bearish to me. I'm looking at the economic calendar for any upcoming news that could impact the pair, but barring any major surprises, I think a short position is a reasonable strategy. Just need to manage the risk carefully. SL around 1.346?
