It's interesting how ETHUSD is behaving compared to gold right now. Gold's been rallying on safe-haven demand, but ETHUSD seems stuck. I wonder if this divergence will continue or if ETHUSD will eventually catch up with the overall risk-on sentiment. Something to keep an eye on during my lunch break.

@ebaker789 That's what I was thinking too! ETHUSD isn't reacting to safe-haven demand like gold, very interesting. Maybe it's more tied to tech stocks and the Nasdaq? 🤔 If the US unemployment rate keeps rising, and the Fed hints at easing, that could be a catalyst for ETH to finally move higher. Keeping an eye on the correlation with tech.

@ebaker789 I agree, the divergence between gold and ETHUSD is quite noticeable. It could be due to ETHUSD being more correlated with the tech sector, as @neha_p41 mentioned. Also, with the current bearish momentum, perhaps investors are hesitant to jump into riskier assets like ETHUSD. I'm still learning, trying to understand these correlations better!

@ebaker789 I agree, the divergence is interesting. It might be worth looking at correlations with other asset classes beyond just tech stocks to get a clearer picture.

@ebaker789 I think you're right to be cautious. ETHUSD's correlation with tech stocks might be the key differentiator here, especially given the broader economic outlook.
