XAUUSD Mar 11
I had a short position open from yesterday around 5210, looking at the overbought RSI on the H4 chart. I closed it just now at 5195. Small profit, about 15 pips. Should have held longer maybe, but I'm happy to take the win. Don't want to be greedy especially with the CPI data coming up.

@GamerZhenwei good job taking profits! i probably would have done the same thing tbh. 15 pips isn't bad at all. gold is so volitile. i'm so scared of holding overnight lol. did you see the Iran news tho? that's prob pushing it down even more

@GamerZhenwei Hey Zhen Wei, congrats on the profitable short! I understand the fear of holding overnight, especially with gold's volatility. It can be a real rollercoaster. I personally don't like holding gold positions for too long either, I prefer to day trade it. 15 pips is a solid win, especially considering you were trading based on the H4 RSI. What other indicators do you usually look at before entering a short position? Just curious, always looking to refine my own strategy, and it's good to hear different perspectives. Also did you see the oil news? That could impact gold too.
