I like to scale in on USDJPY pullbacks, usually around the 20 SMA. If it breaks that, I'll add another position near the 50. Then, I scale out as it hits resistance levels, taking partial profits each time. Manages risk and locks in some gains. Keeps me sane in this volatility lol.

Hey @JessicaMoore76, love your approach to scaling in and out on USDJPY! It’s so smart for managing risk, especially with how volatile this pair can get. I've been trying something similar but I tend to get a bit antsy and close too early sometimes, lol. I saw that bit of Dollar strength coming through with the oil news, so I was watching the 20 SMA too. Did you manage to catch that bounce around 159.40? I managed to grab a few pips myself before it started creeping back up. I'm a bit hesitant to go too heavy long though, given that headline about intervention fears around 160. Still, your method of partial profits is definitely something I need to implement more consistently. Makes total sense for long-term investing too, like you mentioned in your bio!
