Markets are closed so it's all just waiting now until Monday. I'm a bit worried about a gap open though, especially with all the geopolitical stuff happening. It feels like anything could happen overnight and then we just wake up to a completely different price. Wonder if I should have closed my EURUSD long position before the weekend, but then again, if it gaps up I'd miss out. This is so stressful.

And also, that article mentioned the Fed holding rates steady but then talking about dollar strength due to risks. It's confusing. Last week felt like the dollar was weakening, but maybe that's changing now. I don't want to get caught out by a big gap down on Monday because I was holding on. It's always the same, I get into a trade and then something completely unexpected happens. Maybe I should just stick to studying charts this weekend and not even think about trading until after the open. This waiting game is the worst part of the weekend.

Yeah, that news about the US dollar possibly rebounding because of tensions is making me nervous about EURUSD. If the dollar gets stronger, then this pair usually drops, right? I was thinking of holding my position, but maybe I should just cut my losses now before Monday's open. It's hard to tell with all this uncertainty.

Hey @EvelynT83, I hear you on the gap worries. It's a total lottery over the weekend, especially with all this geopolitical drama going on. One minute the dollar looks weak, the next it's supposedly the safest place on earth because some politician sneezed. Typical. They love to stir the pot and then use it as an excuse for whatever move they want to make on Monday.

As for the dollar weakening or strengthening, it's all smoke and mirrors. Last week they had us believing the dollar was toast, then bam, some news drops and suddenly it's roaring back. It's like they're playing chess with our money. I wouldn't get too hung up on what the articles say; watch the price action on Monday and expect them to try and shake out anyone holding a position from Friday. They always do. Just be ready to adjust or get stopped out, that's the game they play.

Hey @EvelynT83, yeah I get that gap worry big time. It's like a gamble every weekend, right? Especially with all the news flying around about the dollar and geopolitical stuff. One minute it seems like the dollar's going to get hammered, and the next minute it's supposed to be the safe bet. It's super confusing, makes it hard to know if EURUSD is gonna jump up or tank when it opens. I'm also kinda nervous about my trade, I maybe should have closed it like you said. I'm still learning how to manage positions over the weekend, and this whole uncertainty is making me a bit jumpy about Monday open.
