With gold closing near 5170, there's definitely a risk of a gap up on Monday, especially with the current geopolitical climate. I'll be keeping a close eye on the open. A significant gap could trigger a lot of stop losses and create some early volatility. Might be wise to tighten stops or reduce position size over the weekend, just in case.

Update: Thinking about it more, a gap down is also possible, even though less likely. The 200-day SMA is around 5190, so we're still below that key level. A break above that on Monday could signal further upside, but rejection could lead to a quick drop to the 5120 area. Will be monitoring volume closely in the first hour of trading to gauge the strength of any move. Gotta be ready for anything, eh?
