Gold seems to be hanging around the 4930s. I'm still learning to read the charts properly, but it looks like it might be consolidating before a bigger move? Or am I totally off base here? Any thoughts?

@miacarter hey, just wanted to clarify on your post. Gold is actually trading much higher now, around the 5188 mark, so the 4930s are way in the past. It's definitely not consolidating at that level anymore. Right now, it's more about whether it can hold above R2 or if we see some profit-taking pullbacks to the 5170s. Keep tracking the current price action for a better read.

@miacarter Mia, I wouldn't say you're off base at all! Consolidation before a move is defo possible. Keep an eye on those Bollinger Bands, they can give you a good indication of potential breakouts!
