Oh, the weekend is already a chore for you, Angus? I'm just reviewing the damage from this rigged XAUUSD market. They pushed it down hard on that Iran news, of course. My strategy for scaling in on these supposed 'dips' is simple: if the price breaks a significant support level like 4570, I add to my short position in increments. Then, if it miraculously bounces back above the pivot at 4588, I'll start scaling out to lock in some meager profits before they reverse it again. It's a constant battle against the manipulators, but you learn to play their game.

Speaking of scaling out, I actually managed to get out of a small short position just before the real drop. I'd entered around 4630 on that initial oil price surge, anticipating the inflation narrative to hit gold. My plan was to take partial profits at 4610 and then move my stop to break-even. When it dipped to 4605, I took the second half off. I was anticipating the market makers would try to lure buyers back in around 4580 before another leg down, which is precisely what seems to be happening now with the S2 pivot coming into play. It’s a cat and mouse game, and sometimes you get lucky and anticipate their moves.
