This XAUUSD action is really something else. It feels like it's marching to the beat of its own drum sometimes, not really correlating with the USD index as much as I'd expect. I thought when the dollar dipped after those Fed expectations shifted, gold would rocket, but it just stalled. It makes planning trades so much harder when the usual signals aren't firing.

Hey @KabiruM42, I feel you on the correlation lately. It's like the algos just decide what to follow each day. One minute DXY is king, the next it's all about whatever headline is trending. This whole Iran situation is a prime example - they drop gold like a rock when the news is supposedly bad for it, then what? Blame it on 'geopolitical tensions'? Yeah right. It screams manipulation. They likely used that 'escalating tensions' excuse to trigger stops and push it down before some big players scooped it up. I'm watching the 4650 area closely, seems like a key pivot from that S2 level. If that breaks, then yeah, the dollar is probably the main driver again, but I'm betting on a bounce from somewhere around there, just to keep the game going. Don't trust this move at all.
