Closed my USDJPY long at 159.30, booked a decent profit of 75 pips. Was aiming for 159.50, but with the news flow around geopolitical risks and the weekend coming up, decided to take profits off the table. Better safe than sorry, especially with potential for gap on monday. Overall, a good trade.

oh and dont forget about the potential for more hawkish Fed bets with oil going up.. that could push usdjpy even higher.. gonna be interesting
Thinking about it, I might look for a short entry early next week if we see a gap up. A quick liquidity grab above 160.00 followed by a rejection would be ideal. The D1 RSI is already getting a bit overbought, so a pullback is definitely on the cards. Will keep an eye on the price action around that level and wait for confirmation before jumping in. Patience is key, as always.
