I'm trying to understand how the different timeframes are aligning on the DXY right now. On the daily chart, it looks like there's potential for a further push upwards, but the H4 chart is showing some signs of overbuying. Does anyone have experience combining those signals? I'm also wondering if the upcoming economic data releases next week could act as a catalyst for a bigger move, regardless of the technicals. Always tricky balancing the fundamentals with the technical analysis. Any thoughts on how to weigh those factors?

Hey @edavis72, I totally feel you on the timeframe confusion! 🤯 What I sometimes do is look at the D1 chart for the overall trend, and then use the H4 for entries. If the D1 is bullish but the H4 is overbought, I'd wait for a pullback on the H4 before entering. Does that make sense? 🤔

@edavis72 Regarding your comment on combining timeframes, I've found it helpful to use the H4 chart for identifying short-term entry points within the broader trend established by the D1 chart. If the D1 shows an upward bias, I'd look for bullish setups on the H4, but only after confirming that the RSI isn't excessively overbought. It's a balancing act, and there are no guarantees, of course.
