This week was a bit of a rollercoaster for me with the DXY. I tried a long position early on, thinking it would bounce off the 96.40 support, but it didn't quite work out. I closed it for a small loss, which was frustrating. Should have waited for more confirmation, I guess. I'm starting to think I need a more robust strategy. Gonna spend some time this weekend looking at different indicators and maybe paper trading a bit to get more confident. Still early days for me, so gotta keep learning!

@oliver1854, I feel you on the frustrating losses. It's easy to jump the gun sometimes. Maybe try waiting for the price to close above or below a key level before entering a trade? Confirmation can save you from those false breakouts. Don't beat yourself up too much, it happens to all of us!

@oliver1854 Confirmation is key, I agree. I've been burned before by jumping in too early. Maybe wait for a break above 97?
@oliver1854 Hey Oliver, don't beat yourself up too much! We've all been there. DXY can be tricky. Maybe try setting tighter stop losses until you get a better feel for it? Small losses are way better than big ones, right? It's all part of the learning curve. Good luck!
