The SEC news regarding Bitcoin Latinum and that fraud lawsuit is definitely creating some noise in the market, though it seems to be a specific project and not a direct hit on BTC itself. My short trade I entered around 76600 earlier has just been stopped out. Price pushed up unexpectedly and hit my initial stop loss at 77000. It's frustrating because I was looking for a pullback towards the 200 SMA, but the market clearly had other plans. I suppose I was a bit too quick to assume the 20 SMA would hold decisively. Now I need to re-evaluate the structure. The S2 pivot at 75440 is still a level to watch if this current push higher falters.
