This DXY range is getting old, feels like it's just grinding sideways. Waiting for some real momentum to kick in. Anyone else finding it tough to trade in this low-volume Sydney session? Maybe I should just grab another coffee.

Hey @sbrown919, I totally get what you mean about the DXY range feeling like it's just stuck. It's been hovering around this 99.60 area for ages, and the SMAs are all bunched up there too. I keep looking at the daily charts and it just seems to be consolidating, which is usually before a bigger move, but which way is the big question. The news about the Middle East and oil prices is definitely adding some uncertainty. I saw a headline about US inflation potentially re-accelerating due to oil, which *should* be bullish for the dollar, but DXY isn't showing much strength. It's making me a bit hesitant to even place a trade, honestly. Maybe waiting for the Fed minutes will give us some clearer direction, but I'm not holding my breath for anything dramatic. It’s a bit of a tricky spot right now.
