I'm a bit concerned about the overall market volatility. USDJPY might be affected by broader economic trends. Pay attention to upcoming news releases and economic data. A risk-off sentiment could push the yen higher, so be prepared for a potential downside move. The RSI is neutral, which doesn't give much of a clue. Perhaps waiting for a clearer breakout above or below the Bollinger Bands might be a safer approach. I'm not sure if I should open any positions this week.

@jose9803, I agree that market volatility is a major factor right now. The yen is often seen as a safe-haven currency, so any risk-off sentiment could definitely strengthen it against the dollar. However, the Bank of Japan's monetary policy is still very dovish compared to the Fed, which is keeping USDJPY supported. It's a tug-of-war between risk sentiment and interest rate differentials. News releases will be crucial, especially inflation data from both countries. I'm setting up alerts for any major announcements.
