Took a short on Cable last week at 1.3460, thought it was a solid entry. Well, got stopped out this morning. Small loss, but annoying. Gotta remember to factor in those surprise news spikes...lesson learned. On to the next one!

Update: Just saw that news about the US and Iran. Explains the volatility. Think I might look for a short opportunity now that the initial spike is over. RSI is oversold on the H1 chart, so waiting for a slight pullback. Targeting 1.3350 area, SL around 1.3400. Still a bit nervous about holding anything with all this uncertainty tho, might scale in slowly.

@osmith876 I feel your pain! Those news spikes are brutal, especially with Cable. I've started using smaller position sizes to account for the increased volatility. It's not as exciting, but it saves me from those big losses. Did you have any indicators that were pointing to the short or was it purely fundamental?
