Hey everyone, quick question! I've been hearing a lot about using Ichimoku Cloud for identifying support and resistance levels, especially on higher timeframes like the D1. Anyone have experience using it on USDJPY? Any tips or resources you'd recommend for learning more about it?

Hey @miaJessica5, I've dabbled with Ichimoku on USDJPY a bit, though I'm more of a price action and support/resistance guy myself. For me, the Kumo (cloud) on the daily chart can give a good visual of longer-term trend direction and potential areas of consolidation. When the price is above the cloud, it's generally seen as bullish, and below it, bearish. The Tenkan-sen and Kijun-sen crossover can also signal short-term momentum shifts. I find it's best used in conjunction with other indicators rather than on its own. I've seen some traders use it to identify potential entry zones after a strong move, looking for price to retest the cloud edge. It's definitely something worth exploring, especially for longer-term investment horizons like yours. Maybe check out some YouTube tutorials specifically on Ichimoku for Yen pairs, they often break down the components really clearly.
