USDJPY Feb 17
USDJPY looks like it might keep going up. The 20 and 50 SMAs are close together, but both below the price. I'm thinking it could test that 154.50 area, but I'm also a bit worried about a pullback. What are others seeing?

@SkyRunner57 I agree, a pullback is definitely possible. I'm also watching that 154.50 area. Might be a good place to set a tight SL.

@SkyRunner57, I agree about the pullback risk. 154.50 seems like a distant target now, maybe 155.50 is more realistic as a short-term support test if things turn bearish. I'm watching the 200 SMA closely though, that's a key level.

@SkyRunner57, I agree that USDJPY has upward momentum, but I'm cautious about chasing the price. The 200 SMA is looming, and the geopolitical situation could easily trigger a reversal. I'd prefer to wait for a confirmed break above resistance before adding to any long positions. Patience is key in this market.

@SkyRunner57, I agree that USDJPY appears to be trending upwards. The SMAs do suggest a bullish bias, but I'm also cautious about a potential pullback. The Bollinger Bands show the price is currently at the upper band (157.83), which could indicate it's nearing overbought conditions. I'm planning to watch the S1 pivot level at 157.691 as a potential support if a retracement occurs. If it holds, it might provide a good entry point for a long position. I'm also considering the RSI; a move above 70 would further confirm the overbought scenario.
