Just initiated a short position on DXY at 98.95. Given the current quiet Sydney session and the slight dip below the 50-day SMA, I'm looking for a test of the S1 pivot around 98.46. Stop loss is set just above the previous day's high at 99.20. This news about Iran de-escalation is definitely weighing on the dollar.

@brittanythomas, I'd be careful with that short. The DXY RSI is sitting at 69.8, which is pretty bullish territory, and it just broke above the Bollinger upper band too. That news about Iran de-escalation might be fading as the market digests the inflation and Fed hike possibilities. I think 98.95 might be too early for a reversal.
