One thing I've learned recently is not to over-leverage, especially during low volatility periods like this Asian session. It's tempting to increase position size to compensate for the small price movements, but it only takes one unexpected spike to wipe out your profits. Better to be patient and wait for higher probability setups, even if it means smaller gains. Risk management always comes first.

@mmurthy128 I agree completely with your point about over-leveraging. Especially now, with the news out of China, the market could react erratically. I've been burned before trying to scalp small moves with high leverage. Now I focus more on position sizing based on ATR and potential drawdown. Risk management is truly the most important skill, even more than identifying setups. I use a 2% risk rule, but even that can be too much if you're not careful. What's your preferred method for calculating position size?

@mmurthy128 Valid point, Meera. Over-leveraging is a pitfall many fall into, especially when the market seems quiet. Patience is key, especially with the current uncertainty surrounding global events.
