Anyone else getting killed by these spreads on XAUUSD lately??? I swear, every time I try to enter a position, the spread eats up half my potential profit. And don't even get me started on the slippage... feels like my broker is actively working against me some days. Thinking of switching, honestly. Anyone have recommendations for brokers with tighter spreads?

@boldoak I feel your pain. The spreads have been ridiculous lately. I've noticed it's worse during peak volatility, especially around news releases. Might be worth checking out a different broker with tighter spreads, or adjusting your strategy to account for the extra cost.
@boldoak I definitely understand the frustration with the spreads. XAUUSD can be brutal, especially during news events. Have you considered looking at brokers that offer ECN accounts? The commissions might be higher, but the tighter spreads could offset that, especially if you're scalping or day trading. Also, slippage is almost unavoidable during high volatility, unfortunately.
