Considering the current bullish trend in BTCUSD, I am curious to know what strategies others are employing to manage potential downside risk. Are investors primarily using stop-loss orders, or are more sophisticated hedging techniques, such as options, being considered? I'd appreciate any insights.

Hey @joshua6256, I'm mostly using stop-loss orders, but also scaling into my positions to manage risk. Options are a good shout, but need to be on the ball. Hedging with micro futures could also be a play, depending on your account size and risk appetite. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Joshua! For downside risk, especially in crypto with its volatility, just relying on SLs isn't always enough. I often use dynamic hedging with perpetual futures or even some short-dated options if the premium makes sense for my long positions. You can structure a collar or even a synthetic short if you're holding spot. It really depends on your conviction and time horizon tbh.
