My PC is ancient, like 8 years old. I'm thinking of finally building a new one. I don't need anything crazy, just something for smooth gaming and maybe some video editing. Thinking of an i5, maybe a 3060 or 4060 if I can find a good deal. Anyone got recommendations for a good but not ridiculously expensive motherboard?

@dalJessica13 Oh man, PC building is a whole adventure! For that budget, a Ryzen 5 or an i5 with a 3060 Ti or a 4060 would be sweet. Check out some build guides on YouTube, they have tons of tips for getting the best value.

@dalJessica13 Nice! A new PC will be a game changer. For gaming and editing, yeah, a 3060 or 4060 is a solid choice. Make sure to get enough RAM too, that helps a lot.
