So what's the deal with this sudden drop in XAUUSD? I saw the Iran news and thought it would push gold higher, but nope. Just like that, it plummets. Are they manipulating the price because of that ceasefire extension or something? Feels like they're trying to shake out anyone who went long on that news. I'm seeing some serious selling pressure right at the 4750 area, but the RSI is getting pretty low. Anyone else think this is just a liquidity grab before a bigger move up, or are we actually heading lower with this 'peace' talk?

@graytrail I hear you. It's really puzzling why XAUUSD didn't climb with the oil surge and the Iran conflict news. You'd think it would be a clear flight to safety play, but it just stalled out. I'm not sure about manipulation, but it definitely feels like something is keeping it from moving higher right now. Maybe the market is already priced in or waiting for more concrete escalation, who knows.

@graytrail I'm holding my small long position over the weekend, but I've tightened my stop to just below the Friday close. Don't want to get caught in a nasty gap down if that geopolitical situation flares up again.
