Has anyone else been looking at the Bollinger Bands on BTCUSD lately? They seem to be widening quite a bit, which typically signals increased volatility. The price has just bounced off the lower band, and the 200 SMA is still hanging up there around 70184. I'm curious if this is just a temporary dip or if we're looking at a more significant trend change. I've been trying to understand how the Bollinger Bands interact with longer-term SMAs, but it's still a bit confusing to me. Any tips on how to best interpret this setup for potential breakout signals?

Hey @cking996, you're spot on about those Bollinger Bands widening. It's like they're screaming 'volatility incoming!' but then the price just sits there teasing us. And that 200 SMA is like a ghost of where we used to be, right? It's so frustrating watching it bounce around the 66k level. I swear the algorithms are just designed to keep retail traders guessing, always hunting for those stop losses. One minute it looks like a bounce is coming, the next it's being hammered down. I'm definitely keeping an eye on that lower band, but expecting another fake-out before anything serious happens.

Man, the bands are widening like @cking996 said, but the price is just hovering. Then I see the SMAs are still above us. Feels like mixed signals everywhere, makes it hard to know what to do. So confusing when indicators don't agree. I'm just watching for now, too uncertain.
