Learned a tough lesson last week with USDJPY. I was too focused on the headline news about the yen and ignored the technicals. Price was consolidating near a key resistance, and I jumped in long too early, only to get stopped out when it reversed. Always let the chart confirm the story, never the other way around.

Yeah @boldOak8, I totally get that! I’m still figuring out the charts myself. It’s so hard to tell what’s just noise and what’s a real signal. Sometimes I feel like I FOMO in when I shouldn’t, or panic sell too early like you said. Definitely something I need to work on.
