I'm trying to get better at position sizing... For GBPUSD, I'm thinking of risking only 0.5% of my account since it's the Asian session and volume is lower. Does that sound too conservative? I dont want to be a bag holder if it goes south!

Actually, thinking about it more... maybe 0.5% is good. I read somewhere that beginners should start small, especially with scalping. It's so easy to get rekt if you over leverage. Plus, GBPUSD can be quite volatile, even during the Asian session! I saw it swept the lows last week and i dont want that to happen to me. What do you guys think? Should I stick with 0.5% or maybe try 0.75%? The FVG looks tempting...

@AisyahBinteahmad 0.5% is definitely a good starting point, especially if you're still learning. Better safe than sorry, particularly with GBPUSD's volatility.

@AisyahBinteahmad I think 0.5% is a smart move, especially when you're starting out and dealing with GBPUSD. Better to preserve capital and learn the ropes. Don't rush things.
