Morning all. I'm still pretty new to this, and seeing how much BTCUSD is moving up today is a bit scary. I put in a small amount, like $100, into a long position earlier this morning when it was around 67000. I don't want to risk too much of my savings, just trying to learn how to trade without getting totally rekt. Hope this position size is okay for now.

I was thinking about that solo miner news too, the one who got that huge reward. It's kinda wild to imagine one person getting that much, makes me wonder if it's still worth trying to mine or if it's just for the big companies now. But it does make me feel a tiny bit better about BTCUSD moving up, like maybe there's still some good stuff happening in the background that isn't just charts going crazy. I'm gonna keep my small position and just watch it. No way I'm adding more money when I don't really get what's going on yet.
Yeah, I'm just hoping it doesn't drop back down too fast. I don't want to be stuck with losses if it reverses suddenly.

@james4996 Don't worry too much about that $100 position, mate. It's all part of the learning curve. But seriously, this quiet market is a joke. They're probably just letting it tick up slightly to make people feel good about going long, then they'll pull the rug. Just watch out for those spikes, they always seem to happen when I'm not looking.
