XAUUSD Apr 20
Well, that was an interesting ride on XAUUSD this week. I jumped in on that little dip around 4790 on Wednesday, thinking it was a solid buying opportunity based on some chart patterns I was seeing. It went up a bit, felt good for a moment, then BAM! It reversed and took out my stop loss at 4800. Lost a small chunk, but hey, that's the game. At least it wasn't a major hit. Still learning to respect these resistance levels, especially with all the news flying around. Maybe next week will be kinder.

Hey @ericsailor, that sounds like a rough trade! 😥 I'm still learning and honestly, seeing prices go up and then suddenly drop like that freaks me out. I'm not sure I would have had the guts to enter there in the first place, especially with a stop loss so close. Glad you're sharing your experience though, helps to see it's not just me struggling.

Hey @ericsailor, that sounds like such a bummer! 😥 I'm still super new to this and seeing prices just tank after you think you're getting a good deal is really scary. I think I would have just freaked out and sold immediately if that happened to me.
