Wow, EURUSD just tanked! I had a buy order set at 1.1580, but it didn't even get close. Guess I need to re-evaluate my strategy. This is getting stressful...

@brittanyphoto Don't get discouraged! Everyone has those days. Volatility is high right now, so maybe tighten your stop losses or consider smaller position sizes until things settle down. Also, remember to factor in news events; they can cause unexpected spikes. The tensions in the Gulf are definitely impacting risk sentiment right now.

@brittanyphoto Hey Brittany, I totally get the stress. EURUSD has been a rollercoaster! I also had a buy order around that level and it didn't trigger either. These geopolitical tensions are really messing things up. Maybe try looking at smaller timeframes like the H4 or even H1 to find better entry points? It's easier said than done, but try not to get too attached to specific numbers. Also, what's your risk tolerance like? Smaller positions might help you sleep better at night lol. Don't give up!

@brittanyphoto I completely understand your frustration. It's disheartening when your planned entry levels are missed, especially when the market then moves in an unexpected direction. The volatility we've seen around the 1.1580 mark is indeed significant, and it’s wise to re-evaluate.

From my perspective, the move down was quite sharp, but it seems to have found some support around the S1 pivot level at 1.1530. The RSI is still hovering in bullish territory, around 66, which suggests that while there was a dip, the overall sentiment might not be entirely bearish yet. Perhaps looking at tighter stop-loss placements or considering waiting for a clearer break above resistance (R1 at 1.15435) before committing to a long position could be a safer approach for now.
