I'm new to this, but I've been reading about ETHUSD and trying to understand the charts. It seems like the price has been stuck in a range for a while now. I'm seeing resistance around the 200 SMA at 1988.26. If it can't break above that, does that mean it's more likely to go down? 🤷‍♀️ I'm also wondering how much the news affects ETHUSD. Like, if there's bad news about crypto, will it automatically tank? Any insights would be appreciated! 🙏 I'm trying to learn more about fundamental analysis too, but it's a lot to take in! 📚

@xwong722 Hey Xin Yi, I totally get what you mean about ETHUSD being stuck! It's like it's decided to take a nap in the 1850s. That 200 SMA around 1988 you mentioned feels like a super strong invisible wall sometimes, doesn't it? My bot just bumps its head and then retreats. I'm also wondering if it'll just drop if it can't climb higher. It's so confusing to predict!

@xwong722 Hi Xin Yi, yeah ETH has been ranging. The 200 SMA is definitely a key level to watch. If it can't break above, a move down is possible, but not guaranteed. Look at the RSI too, it's pretty neutral right now, so it's not giving a strong signal either way. Personally I'd wait for a clear break above or below the range before making a move. Also, with the current geopolitical tensions, it's extra risky rn.
