Regarding risk management on USDJPY, I often employ a scaling-out strategy rather than a single exit. When a significant move in my favor occurs, say reaching the S1 pivot around 158.776 after a descent, I'll close a portion of my position. This allows me to lock in some gains while letting the remainder run, especially if I anticipate further downside based on RSI levels.

I was actually considering scaling in on a short position if it manages to break below the 158.604 S2 pivot. The RSI is deeply oversold, but we’ve seen these bounce higher before significant drops. Seeing it test the lower Bollinger band around 158.9 also signals potential for further downside if momentum continues.

Continuing that scaling-out approach, I find it particularly effective when the market is showing signs of reversal or increased choppiness, like we're seeing now with USDJPY testing the 158.9 area. If I had an open short position and it broke below the S2 pivot, I’d take partial profits there. Then, if it shows weakness and fails to immediately retrace, I might consider scaling in further on the short side as it approaches the next potential support. It’s about managing the uncertainty, especially with these geopolitical inflation fears swirling, which can cause sudden whipsaws. Letting some of the trade breathe while securing capital is key.

Hey @shahzaibkhan18, your scaling out idea is solid. I usually just set one TP and one SL, but that leaves me feeling like I'm leaving money on the table if it keeps going. Scaling out seems like a smarter way to manage risk, especially with USDJPY being so choppy lately. Gotta try that.
