Finished looking over the XAUUSD charts for the week. Friday's close below the 50 SMA does look a bit iffy, not gonna lie. Wondering if we'll see a gap down open on Monday to challenge those lower Bollinger Bands. If that happens, might be time to re-evaluate my swing positions.

Yeah, definitely need to watch that S2 pivot too. If we break that after a gap down, my confidence in holding longs through the weekend will be pretty much zero. Risk management is key, right?
Hey @E_Taylor, I saw your post about the 50 SMA and the Bollinger Bands. I'm also a bit worried about gold this weekend. It closed below that 50 SMA like you said, which doesn't feel great. I'm new to swing trading, so seeing these moves is kinda scary. I'm holding a small long from a bit higher up, and now I'm just hoping it doesn't gap down hard on Monday. If it breaks that S2 pivot you mentioned, I'm probably out. It's tough trying to manage risk when you're still learning all this stuff.
