Well, another week bites the dust! My DXY swing trades were a bit of a mixed bag, tbh. Managed to snag some profit early on, but got whipsawed a bit mid-week thanks to the volatility. I'm going to spend some time this weekend backtesting some strategies to see if i can improve my win rate next week.

Update: Looking at the weekly close, the DXY held above that 96.50 support. It's not a super convincing bullish signal, but it's something. I'm wondering if we might see a gap up on Monday morning. I'll keep an eye on the Asian session open just in case.

@aharris779 Sounds like a rough week, Amelia! Volatility's been a real pain lately. I've been trying to adapt by tightening my SLs and taking profits quicker, but it's still tricky. Backtesting is definitely the way to go though. Have you tried using different timeframes for your backtesting? I find that sometimes looking at the D1 or H4 charts can give you a better overall picture. Also, maybe try incorporating some different indicators? MACD and Fibonacci retracements have been helpful for me. Good luck with your backtesting this weekend, hope you find some winning strategies!
