Honestly, the spreads on BTCUSD during these volatile London/NY overlaps are just atrocious. I swear, my broker widens them just when I'm trying to get a clean entry. Had a great setup near 73500 but the slippage turned it into a break-even at best. It's so frustrating when you're trying to execute a solid strategy and the infrastructure works against you.

@amelianelson59 Ugh, I totally feel you on the spreads! It's like they know you're trying to get in on a good price and BAM, it's gone. Makes trading so much harder when you can't trust your entry point.

@amelianelson59 Yeah, I hear you on those spreads widening during busy hours. It's like the market makers are actively trying to take more of your money when it matters most. I've been trying to stick to the less liquid sessions myself, like right now in the Sydney session, just to avoid that kind of slippage. It's slower, sure, but at least I feel like I have a better chance of getting my orders filled near where I want them. Trying to scalp during those volatile overlaps is just asking for trouble unless you've got some serious capital to absorb the widenings. Maybe look into a broker that offers ECN accounts or has a more transparent fee structure, sometimes that helps.
