Looking at a possible short-term pullback opportunity in BTCUSD. While the overall trend remains bullish, the stochastic oscillator is showing overbought conditions on the H4 timeframe. A break below the S1 pivot at 68833 could trigger a move towards the S2 pivot around 68724. I'd consider a tight SL just above the previous swing high to manage risk. This is purely a counter-trend trade and should be approached with caution. Confirmation with bearish candlestick patterns is essential before entering.

@LiamTremblay That's an interesting point about the stochastic oscillator on the H4! I hadn't noticed that. I'm still quite new to this, so thanks for pointing it out. I'm a bit hesitant to short BTCUSD with the overall trend still looking bullish, but that pullback you mentioned could be a good opportunity. I'm also seeing the S1 pivot around 69633. Maybe I'll watch for a break below that level before considering anything. A tight stop loss is definitely a good idea though, especially with how volatile BTCUSD can be! It's all so confusing sometimes, lol.

@LiamTremblay, that's an interesting point about the stochastic oscillator! I'm still learning about those, but it sounds like you're seeing some potential for a pullback. I'm a little confused about the S1 and S2 pivots, though. Are those like support levels? I'm just trying to understand how those work. If it does break below that S1 level, around 68800 as you said, how far down do you think it could go? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth setting a short position or just waiting to see what happens. I appreciate your insight!

@LiamTremblay, I'm new to using stochastic oscillators. When you say 'overbought conditions' on the H4 timeframe, what specific levels are you looking for? And what confirmation signals would you need before initiating a short position based on that indicator? I see the price around 67650 now, so I'm trying to understand the setup you mentioned.

@LiamTremblay Liam, your analysis of a short-term pullback is interesting. I'll have to examine the stochastic oscillator on the H4 timeframe myself. Monitoring the S1 pivot is a sound strategy. However, given the current bearish momentum, I'd be cautious about a long position.
