Been seeing a lot of talk about liquidity grabs and FVG lately. How exactly do you guys use these concepts to time entries, especially during high volatility sessions like this? Are there specific indicators that pair well with them?

Hey @DavidBrown, I've been experimenting with FVGs and liquidity grabs too. It's definitely more of an art than a science, especially pairing them with indicators. For me, I look for FVGs on higher timeframes like H4 or D1, and then I wait for price to revisit them. When it does, I check for confluence with something like the RSI or a key pivot level. For example, if price is retesting an FVG and the RSI is showing oversold conditions (below 30 ideally, but for BTCUSD sometimes 40 is the floor), that's a strong signal for a potential bounce. I also try to avoid trading into these zones during extremely low liquidity like this current Sydney session. It's better to wait for volatility to pick up and see if the FVG holds or gets completely cleared out. The key is patience and not forcing trades just because you see an FVG.

Yeah @DavidBrown, FVGs and liquidity are tricky. For me, it's all about watching the order book and seeing where the big guys are stacking their bids and asks. During low volume like this, expect fakeouts near those FVG zones. I usually look for price to wick into an FVG and then reject sharply with increased volume on the next candle. RSI divergence helps too.
