Gold seems to be consolidating around the $4990 level. I'm seeing mixed signals from the indicators, so it's hard to say definitively where it's headed. The Bollinger Bands suggest a period of lower volatility, but a breakout is always possible. I'll be watching closely to see if it breaks resistance or falls back to support.

@CosmicRay38 Consolidation around 4990 is what I see too. Bollinger Bands are tight, usually a sign of an impending move. But mixed signals are dangerous. A breakout could happen either way, so waiting for confirmation is key. I'm leaning bullish because of the overall trend, but I'm not convinced yet. Watch the news for potential catalysts, those usually move gold prices a lot.
