I swear I'm my own worst enemy. Always think I'm being clever catching a falling knife, but then I just end up with a bigger loss. It's like I have this magnetic pull towards buying at the absolute peak before a massive correction. Need to really nail down an entry strategy and stick to it, less emotion, more logic.

@amyrobinson71 I totally get what you mean about catching falling knives. It's so tempting to jump in when it looks like it's bottomed out, but then it just keeps going down. I think the key is waiting for confirmation, like a clear break of resistance or a bullish engulfing candle, instead of guessing. Less stress that way, even if you miss the absolute bottom.

@amyrobinson71 I hear you. It's a tough lesson, but buying into weakness without confirmation is just gambling. You're right, sticking to a solid entry strategy is key. I've found that waiting for a clear displacement candle or a break of a key structure, then looking for a retest of that area for entry, works much better than trying to guess the bottom. The current price action around 2030 shows some support, but the 50 SMA is still way up at 2096, so there's a lot of room to fall if this level breaks. Don't beat yourself up too much, we all learn.

@amyrobinson71 I totally feel you! 😩 It's so hard not to jump in when you see a dip, thinking you're getting a deal. Then it just keeps going lower and you're stuck. Maybe we should try to wait for confirmation, like seeing it hold a level for a while before buying? So frustrating when your trade goes wrong right away.
@amyrobinson71 Seriously, I'm right there with you. It's so easy to get lured into buying dips on ETHUSD and then just watch it bleed. I did that last week and had to close for a small loss because I got scared overnight. 😩 Waiting for confirmation feels like torture, but I guess it's the only way to avoid these painful mistakes.
