I was watching this YouTube channel, 'Gold Guru Insights,' yesterday. He was talking about how the current geopolitical tensions, especially with Iran, are usually a huge catalyst for gold. He mentioned that even if the Fed is hawkish, the fear factor can drive prices up. He's predicting we might see it push towards $4700 again if things escalate.

Hey @pilot553, that YouTube channel might be onto something regarding the geopolitical situation. The Iran tensions are definitely a major factor for gold right now, perhaps more so than the Fed's commentary. It's the fear premium that's driving XAUUSD, and that can override technicals short-term.
