Well, Friday was certainly a wild ride for gold. I managed to catch that spike up past 4500 on the back of the geopolitical news, but then saw it retrace significantly. Closed out my position just before the New York close for a modest profit. Not the moonshot some were hoping for, but a win is a win in this choppy market.

Actually, on second thought about that 4450 level, the S2 pivot is sitting just below it at 4468. If we see a break below that, then yes, things could get a bit more bearish. Still, for now, with the ongoing conflicts, I think gold has a floor beneath it. Let's see what the open brings on Monday.
