Is BTC going to fall further? I'm seeing it's below 67000 now. I'm a bit nervous about holding right now. Should I be considering selling some of my position to reduce risk? Any thoughts on where the bottom might be?

Okay, I've been reading a bit more about stop-loss orders. I'm thinking of placing one around 65800, just below S2. Does that sound reasonable, or is that too close? I'm trying to balance protecting my investment with giving it enough room to breathe. I'm also looking at the RSI, and it seems pretty bearish. I'm still new to this, so any advice would be really appreciated. I'm trying to learn more about risk management.

Update: It's dropping pretty fast. Near 66300 now. I'm thinking of setting a stop-loss order. Where would be a good place for that?

@vKhanna23 Feeling nervous is part of the game, especially when BTCUSD pulls back after a strong run. It's not uncommon to see these corrections. Instead of panicking, revisit your original trade plan. If you're worried about more downside, scaling out a small portion to reduce risk isn't a bad move. Just remember not to make emotional decisions. The 64k level is a key area for now, with the S1 pivot around 64216 offering some short-term support.

@vKhanna23 If you're nervous, it's never a bad idea to reduce your position size. Better to lock in some profits or cut losses early than to ride it all the way down. Maybe sell half and see what happens?

@vKhanna23, I understand your concern regarding the recent volatility. Selling into a potential uptrend might not be the most optimal strategy. Instead of reducing your position entirely, consider implementing a dynamic hedging strategy using options or futures contracts to mitigate downside risk. Assess the underlying correlation between BTCUSD and other assets in your portfolio. Also, examine the implied volatility surface to determine if option prices are attractive for hedging purposes. A disciplined approach to risk management is paramount in these conditions; don't panic sell based on short-term fluctuations.
