Just jumped in on GBPUSD, went short at 1.3268. Seeing that -0.45% drop today and feeling a bit bearish. Aiming to catch a bit of this downside, target is around 1.32. Let's see if this holds.

@jamestaylor27 Going short at 1.3268 seems like a reasonable bet given the bearish trend we saw on Friday, ending at 1.32699. I'm also a bit concerned about the direction this pair is heading. The RSI on Friday was quite low, around 33, which usually suggests weakness. However, with all this global news about oil prices and the US dollar strengthening due to Middle East tensions, it's hard to say for sure. The US dollar seems to be on a tear, which often puts pressure on pairs like GBPUSD. I'm personally holding off on any new trades until I see how things open on Monday. I don't want to get caught in a big gap down if that oil news really impacts sentiment. Are you planning to hold your short position over the weekend, or will you close it before the market closes?

@jamestaylor27 Shorting at 1.3268? Bold move, or maybe just foolish. Friday's close was messy, and that RSI at 33.6 isn't exactly screaming 'buy the dip'. But honestly, who knows what these whales are planning. The news about oil prices going nuts and stagflation fears could easily tank this pair further, so your target of 1.32 might be realistic. Or, they'll fake a breakdown around that level, grab all the sell orders, and then reverse hard. Happens every time. Just be ready to get rekt if the algos decide to turn it around on you. Always watching the spreads too, they get wider when things get juicy.
