@samantha6080, the FOMC meeting is definitely the elephant in the room. I think a hawkish tone from the Fed could put downward pressure on gold, but it depends on how aggressively they signal future rate hikes. A dovish stance, on the other hand, could send gold soaring. I'm expecting a lot of volatility in the days leading up to the meeting. I'm personally reducing my exposure to riskier assets and increasing my gold holdings as a hedge. The market hates uncertainty, and the FOMC meeting is a major source of uncertainty right now. Remember to always consider the fundamentals, not just the technicals.
